The “Riccio D'argento” Award

One of the best things about my job is being able to weave relationships and collaborations with artisans of my land, combine skills and create.

As with the Seminara potters, thanks to whom it was possible to start a fruitful collaboration, creating, among others: “Il Riccio”, a propitiatory symbol of luck and happiness.

It is a very particular terracotta object, with silver eyes, mouth and quills, designed by me. It became the prize of an important musical review: “Facts of Music”, conceived and directed by my friend and great professional Ruggero Pegna.

The Riccio d’Argento awards the Best Live Author awards every year and has been awarded in various editions to Tiromancino, Carmen Consoli, Caparezza, Gianna Nannini, Francesco Renga, Subsonica, Max Gazzè, Niccolò Fabi, Daniele Silvestri, Loredana Bertè, Eduardo De Crescenzo, Ezio Bosso. And it awarded also great productions such as the musical “The Betrothed” and “Notre Dame de Paris” and international stars of the caliber of Al Jarreau, James Tylor and Gilberto Gil …

I said these all in one breath, but … there are many and many more …
