The First Necklace

My first work was a necklace of cuticchie: small marine gemstones, of the most varied shapes, that the water shapes and transforms into smooth pebbles. I still display it today with pride, because it represents the beginning of the path I followed since I was a boy to enhance the identity of the territory.

Vincenzo Campana, a teacher who attended the laboratory assiduously, was particularly struck by that work for the conceptual novelty it expressed and the simplicity it was conceived with. “It looks like an ethnic jewel,” he said, complimenting me.
